LakeManasarovar.com is an independent guide to Lake Manasarovar (Mapam Yumco) and Mount Kailash in western Tibet. We are not a tour operator, a travel agency, a government office or GetYourGuide, and the site name describes the place we write about rather than a business. Facts here are checked against official sources where they exist (the MEA, Chinese and Nepali authorities as reported by reputable media), established Tibet agencies, encyclopedias and the operators' own listings on GetYourGuide. Permits, borders and seasons change at short notice in Tibet; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing and your agency's written confirmation win.
